Heirloom Silhouettes
La Perla Fine Jewelers creates custom Silhouette Charms destined to become cherished keepsakes and treasured family heirlooms. Each Silhouette Charm is .50 mm thick and made entirely from 14K yellow gold.
Silhouettes are meticulously cut by hand, and the fine detail captures the charm, essence and personality of each individual depicted. With each jewelry piece ordered, you will also receive two matted, handcut paper silhouettes.
Customers can choose from a variety of charm sizes ranging from 3/4" to 7/8". We can recommend an appropriate size based on the silhouette's subject-charms featuring subjects with long hair or ponytails will be smaller than those with short hair to keep the charm a comfortable size, for example. Charms of a family of children are usually graduated from oldest (largest) to youngest (smallest).
Interested in ordering a Silhouette Charm? Our Silhouette Artist needs three profile photographs of the individual to be depicted. Photographs should be taken with the subject standing approximately three feet from a light-colored, uncluttered wall. The subject should have a relaxed, natural expression (no smiles) and should fill about 80 percent of the image you see within the camera's viewfinder.
